In the late 1950’s Laurie designed a small front engine sports car which was manufactured under licence by Berkeley Caravans at Biggleswade.
Jon Goddard-Watts raced the Berkeleys from 1957- 1960.

In the 1940’s Laurie Bond designed the Bond Minicar manufactured by Sharps Commercials in Preston. This 3-wheeler was a popular economy car after the Second World War.
